Frequently Asked Questions

I am a trader – what time can I arrive?

Traders can arrive from 9am, and begin to setup. Our volunteer stewards will show you where to go. When arriving make your way to the park's northern entrance gate, which is on Southlands road, near the Virgin Gym MAP.

What is the best way to get there?

The festival is held at Whitehall Recreation Ground. The address is Southlands Road, Bromley, Kent. BR2 9QY Public transport is recommended as local parking is very limited. You may find it useful to plan your route using Citymapper

Can I bring and use a BBQ?

No. Our licensing and insurance restricts onsite barbeques, so they are not permitted. Anyone using a barbecue will be asked to extinguish it. There will be multiple food vendors on site selling a range of hot food.

Is smoking permitted at the festival?

Smoking and vaping are not permitted in enclosed areas, such as the beer tent.

What beers will be on offer?

We will have a range of 40+ cask-conditioned beers on offer. These are always carefully sourced and selected to provide a good variety to appeal to various tastes. Once finalised a page will be published of the beers, and a programme is provided on the day, including tasting notes.

Why do we have to use your glasses?

The glasses help us to offset the high setup costs for the festival. These can be re-used at home though :)

When can we buy our glasses and tokens?

We will open up the token tent at 10am so that we can begin providing glasses and tokens.

Will there be any other drinks for sale?

The following drinks will also be for sale:
Pimms
Prosecco
Cider
Fruit Cider
White wine
Water will be available free of charge at the bar.

Will there be any food available?

We will have several food vendors selling a variety of tasty options. You are welcome to bring your own snacks to the event.

What time does the festival start and end?

The festival starts at 1pm and will end at 7pm.

I am interested in becoming a sponsor next year – who should I speak to?

Will seating be available?

Seating won’t be provided but you are welcome to bring a deckchair or blanket to make yourself comfy!

Will there be any toilets on site?

Yes, we will have toilets on site and these will be serviced throughout the day.

Will there be disabled access?

We are doing our best to make the event accessible. If there is specific consideration you require please get in touch or speak to a steward on the day.

What music can I expect to hear?

What if it rains?

The event will be going ahead rain or shine, so if it is forecast to rain, please do bring your waterproofs. We are all hoping for glorious sunshine!
